We decided to use Crossmore Rubber Chip, having seen the surface in the Indoor School at Moorlands Equestrian Centre, Drumshanbo at last year’s AIRE AGM and following recommendations.

We have now had it down in our Indoor School at Brennanstown since April 2014 and consider it a great success. The surface is very good for the Riding School horses and ponies, some of whom are ‘aged’ now – it has a nice cushiony effect and they seem to love the going. Our livery owners also like it. The required maintenance is watering when necessary and rolling and levelling – we roll once a week and level twice. We have recently resurfaced one of our Outdoor Arenas – the Rubber Chip has been mixed through the existing old Sand Arena and we are optimistic that this will be as successful. We have no hesitation in recommending Crossmore Rubber Chip, both in terms of the product it sells and as a company to deal with – their service has been excellent.
